First Time Posting My Personal Plays but have thoughts on 3 Strong Games in CBB tonight:
1. #546 WAKE FOREST vs Duke (7:00 EST)....I like Wake Forest +1 at home. WF has played as difficult a schedule as Duke and went 18-0 before Virginia Tech got them last week on their OWN floor!!
I like Duke, don't get me wrong - but I think that they're catching a very good Wake Forest team at a bad time. Wake has had plenty of time to sit around and think about that loss to Va. Tech & I expect to see a very hungry & focused Deamon Deacon team tonight on their OWN court!! I like Wake by 7+ points tonight...Duke 80 WAKE FOREST 88.
2. #571 Ohio U at C. MICHIGAN (8:00 EST)....I like Ohio in this game. Simply put: Ohio is the better team in every category and coming off a 1 point home loss to Bowling Green, Ohio will be extremely Focused tonight!
Central Michigan's 5 wins have come again: Princeton (by 2); Wright St. (by 2 in OT); Alcorn St. by only 8; Ball St by 6 and N. Illinois by 13...Hardly impressive at all. Lay the 4 points as Ohio wins by Double Digits...Ohio 78 C. MICHIGAN 65.
3. #586 NORTHERN IOWA vs Illinois St (8:00 EST)...I look for N. Iowa to continue their roll tonight vs a falling Illinois St. team. No. Iowa is playing at home tonight where they've lost only 2 games all year to: Iowa St (in OT) back on Dec. 3rd & Indiana St back on Dec. 28th...since then they've won 3 games at home to: Wichita St (by 24), Missouri St (by 14) & Bradley (by 5). Since that home loss to Indiana St back on Dec. 28th, No. Iowa has won 8 STRAIGHT!!
Illinois St. on the othe other hand has really had a set back going 3-3 in their last 6 games! The big thing here is Illinois State's 17-3 record as they started off beating up on some very "cupcakes" as Dicky V would say!
Go with the Red Hot Panthers of Northern Iowa at home tonight (- 3) as they win by 12!...Illinois St. 63 NO. IOWA 75
